KDDI Offers Japanese Consumers Global Wi-Fi Data Roaming Services with iPass
KDDI subscribers have Wi-Fi roaming access in over 100 countries using the iPass global Wi-Fi network

(NASDAQ: IPAS), the global Wi-Fi roaming leader for enterprises and telecom service providers, announced today that KDDI Corporation, Japan’s principle telecommunications provider, and Wire and Wireless Co., Ltd (Wi2), a major provider of end-to-end wireless LAN services in Japan, offer their subscribers a global Wi-Fi data roaming service that utilizes the iPass Mobile Network—the world’s largest commercial Wi-Fi network.
au Wi-Fi SPOT is a service that lets KDDI users conveniently enjoy Wi-Fi access in Japan and over 100 overseas countries in North America, Asia, and Europe allowing easy high speed internet connections on smartphones with the au Wi-Fi Connection Tool.
