Securing Fixed Broadband with Managed Network Services

All iPass fixed broadband connectivity solutions, known as Managed Network Services, use leading security technology, including fully managed, end-to-end IPSec-encrypted VPNs and hardware-based firewalls, to extend enterprise network security.

The Branch Office and Retail Office services include managed VPN appliances from Cisco, Juniper or SonicWALL. These appliances come preconfigured from iPass to securely connect remote locations back to the corporate datacenter.

The Retail Office service, with either the Cisco or Juniper VPN appliances, adds Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP) certification—VISA's implementation of the payment card industry data security standard (PCIDDS). As part of the service, iPass performs quarterly vulnerability scanning against the 12 fundamentals of the PCIDDS. Upon successful completion of these scans, customers receive verification that their credit card transactions are being transmitted securely.

With the Home Office service, iPass provides each home user with a managed Wi-Fi router preconfigured with their company's specific SSID and security settings to give teleworkers secure, easy access to corporate network resources.
