Web-Based Management
The iPass Portal offers a single source for managing iPass services and billing. It simplifies the administration of iPass services from configuration and deployment to maintenance, billing and support:

  • Configuration. Create and manage user profiles.
  • Deployment. Get your iPass Mobile Office service up and running as quickly as possible through the Portal. You can manage user accounts and profiles, add new end-user devices and track deployment.
  • Reporting. Using iPass Real-Time Reporting, view usage and connection experience data, assist users with troubleshooting, generate standard and customized reports.
  • Support. When you need to contact iPass for assistance, open and manage support tickets online. Also, the iPass Knowledge Base helps you to find answers to any number of support questions.
  • Web-based training. You can even get a wide variety of training resources for your help desk and users through the iPass Portal.

Integrated Billing
One of the hallmarks of the iPass Mobile Office service is its consolidated billing. iPass simplifies the billing process by providing a single bill with consistent connection detail records (CDRs) for all remote and mobile connections, regardless of providers and access methods used. Through the billing section of the iPass Portal, you get access to all of your billing information along with daily or monthly CDRs, usage summary reports and much more.

  • Daily CDRs. Call detail records are generated on a daily or monthly basis for all users across all access methods (dial-up, broadband and Wi-Fi)and made available at the time of billing.
  • Online billing statement. iPass posts invoices and updated billing statements to the iPass Portal, and notifies each customer by e-mail that their bill is ready for download. Customers can access billing information for the current month as well as previous months. Statements detail usage for the month, payments, credits and the total amount due.
  • Corporate credit card support. For customers who want to simplify or eliminate internal charge-back administration, iPass can charge end users' access to their corporate credit cards.
  • Reports. To help customers analyze and understand their usage, iPass provides usage summary reports by user, region, country and city.
