

According to the iPass survey, while 32 percent of mobile employees ranked the BlackBerry smartphone as their mobile device of choice, 54 percent of BlackBerry smartphone users would switch to an Apple iPhone if it was supported by their enterprise.

When asked what device employees wanted but their company won’t approve, the iPhone was the most popular answer. In addition, while the device has not yet shipped, respondents were more likely to want an Apple iPad (24 percent) than an Android device (11 percent) or a Netbook (8 percent):

The leading device used on the road today is the smartphone, with a slight increase noted for trips lasting more than 10 days:
