Tomizone provides more hotspots in New Zealand, Australia and beyond

The re-birth of Wi-Fi happened a few years ago with the introduction of the iPhone – now everyone wants the Internet when they’re out and about and it looks like the 3G networks are overloaded as these data hungry devices suck in the bits and bytes. Thankfully the iPass team have worked hard with many Wi-Fi network providers around the World to help us business travelers experience a seamless service in any of the far off lands we go to.
In our case, we enabled iPass users on our network in the past few months which gives access to many thousands of Tomizone Wi-Fi Hotspots across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Samoa. We’ve also got growing networks in China and India.
Building a quality network requires patience and excellent host partners who take Wi-Fi service seriously. We’ve been really lucky to have new partners as diverse as Quest Hotels in New Zealand to Nadi Airport in Fiji take on Tomizone Wi-Fi. This means iPass users will have access to the best places in our regions. We’re seeing more mobile and portable devices such as Android and iPhone devices and iPads access our Wi-Fi Hotspot zones – this trend has been growing from a mere 2% of accesses to over 45% of access across our network over the past few years.
My personal favourite hotspot is at Mana Island, Fiji where my family and I holiday regularly. This was our first Tomizone Wi-Fi project in Fiji and my team have built a 300 acre Wi-Fi zone across this idyllic tropical paradise off the Fiji mainland. The great thing I like to do is access the Internet and video Skype a few friends who don’t get so green with envy when they see the beaches behind me!
As for the top Tomizone Hotspot – I like to pick on the ones where a work-life balance can be enjoyed – like the one at the Sinalei Reef Resort on the south coast of Samoa or the Tomizone Metropolitan Wi-Fi zone across Auckland, New Zealand where we provide an entire city network. Another really neat place to use Tomizone is across Starbucks Coffee shops in Australia and New Zealand – the home of Wi-Fi!
