The top 10 Android smartphones for 2011

There are a couple of good things about this list and it isn’t that they are the top Android phones.

First, this list is for IT and business professionals. And second, this list will stay updated throughout the year. I need to remember this if I need to change phones. Although maybe not, as my phone is #7. But #1 is calling to me.

  • Can the Atrix really be the forerunner to a laptop replacement?
  • The HTC Desire was popular in Europe and Australia before finally getting to the States
  • Android purists will be happy with a few of the selections
  • Keyboard? Touchscreen? You have choices.

And if you are wondering if your phone will be a viable option in the future, Android has moved ahead at the expense of RIM, Microsoft and HP. Last week, ZDNet reported that Android platform rout continues: powers 1 in 3 smartphones, according to comScore.
