British Royal Wedding – Wi-Fi hotspots to celebrate

Having just gotten home from a holiday that included London, I saw the city gearing up for the most anticipated event of the year (of the decade?) — the Royal Wedding on April 29th.
You cannot miss the buzz or excitement. Not only does every gift shop and souvenir stand have items with the picture of Prince William and Kate (aka Catherine) Middleton, but there were also grandstands near Westminster Abbey being constructed allowing more people to participate. The news is filled with information and speculation about dresses, flowers, parties and guest lists.
There will be an anticipated one million visitors, in addition to the Londoners and rest of the nation enjoying the bank holiday for the wedding.
Since not all of you have an invitation to the event, we have provided our list of Top 10 iPass Wi-Fi Hotspots during the Royal Wedding in a Google Map to keep you connected, before, during and after the event. You can even catch the replay on the internet, which has been promised within hours.
The wedding itself is in the beautiful Westminster Abbey, the coronation church since 1066 and the final resting place of 17 monarchs. Staying with the times, the Abbey has released an app for Android, iPhone and iPad users, giving a 3D virtual tour of the Abbey. Download the app using the Westminster outdoor Wi-Fi mesh surrounding the area, to help you follow along with the procession.
