T-Mobile USA rolling out iPass services

Tuesday, October 11th, 2011

What’s not to like about more employees accessing Wi-Fi with more devices?

T-Mobile USA introduced its new T-Mobile® Global Corporate Access (GCA) solution, providing access to connectivity for business and government customers, using iPass services. Customers will get a single login for up to five devices, in a flat-rate fee, helping them be more connected and more productive. They will have Wi-Fi access at more than 570,000 domestic and international hotspots regardless of device manufacturer, platform or network.

IT and CIOs will be happy with more control and predictability over mobility and international roaming costs, and easy integration with a corporate VPN.

This service is a direct response to the needs of multinational corporations (MNCs), U.S. enterprises, and government agencies who seek easy, secure access to corporate tools and resources from across the globe.

“Today’s CIOs and IT decision makers continue to see rising enterprise mobility costs due to a staggering increase in the workforce’s use of multiple devices on different network technologies with different carriers while travelling domestically and abroad,” said Frank Sickinger, vice president, B2B, MNC and federal government at T-Mobile USA.
