T-Mobile offers mobile-to-Wi-Fi with Cisco

Interesting article today on Fierce Broadband Wireless. The article, T-Mobile, Cisco team to enable enterprise mobile-to-WiFi roaming, states that T-Mobile, with Cisco’s Unified Wireless Network, will enable mobile calls over WiFi, which should allow businesses to reduce cell-phone voice calling costs.

But, and this is a huge “BUT”, the solution only works for Blackberry devices. Yet according to our most recent Mobile Workforce Report, although more mobile workers have Blackberrys now, nearly half of all mobile employees planned to get an iPhone (42.4 percent) and another 24 percenct, an Android as their next smartphone.
