Paris – City of Lights (and free WiFi)!
Monday, October 18th, 2010 Mickael Sebban, CEO, Adael
Formed over seven years ago, Adael has been a pioneer in the provision of free Wi-Fi services in France. We believe that access to information has become vital to both personal and business life, and therefore that Wi-Fi is something everyone should have access to whenever necessary. Our patented technology and business model allow us to subsidise our provision of Wi-Fi through advertising. This means that we owe it to both our business partners and our end-users to deliver an excellent user experience and quality of connection.
Currently the Adael service is used by around 25,000 people every month, with more than 150,000 internet sessions provided every month. Today we have announced our partnership with iPass, a move that is bound to see this traffic increase significantly. In building out its huge global network, iPass has partnered with a number of leading providers across the globe, and we are extremely pleased to be the latest company to open up its service to iPass’ business users.
With more than 350 hotspots in Paris alone, we are sure that iPass’ customers travelling in and through France will appreciate our service being available through the iPass offering which users know and love. Businesses will be able to ensure that instead of having their end-users pay for a slow or unreliable connection, they will have free access to a top quality connection – a win on both fronts!
And it doesn’t have to be all work and no play – around 200 of Paris’ restaurants are covered by our network so they’ll be more than able to mix business with pleasure.
