More hotspots for internet-savvy South Korea

Tuesday, September 6th, 2011

South Korea is one of the most connected nations in the world using their smartphones to browse the Web while on the move.

In this country, everyone over the age of 10 has a smartphone and 60% of people using mobile devices access the Internet on their handset at least five times a day. South Koreans are also looking for innovative ways to leverage Wi-Fi, even for the chore of grocery shopping.

With that, we are happy to announce 51,000 more Wi-Fi hotspots, through SK Telecom, to get you to the internet while in South Korea.

Our iPass customers can get connected to the Internet from their mobile devices from major airports, including Incheon, Pusan and Kimpo, hotels, such as Walker Hill (Starwood), Shilla and Lotte hotels, and the Grand Intercontinental Hotel in Seoul, along with convention centers, restaurants and office locations.
