Mobile Worker Infographic – what you use and how

Yesterday, we released our Q1 Mobile Workforce Report. Based on what we found, today’s iPad announcement is sure to be of interest to a huge percentage of these workers. The tablet has quickly become an additional device in their set of preferred productivity tools with 27% of our respondents using iPads at work.

Note that I said “additional,” rather than replacement. For most mobile workers, the tablet, mostly the iPad, is a complementary device. Some of our users report using their tablet more and more, preferring the convenience for travel and accessibility. The availability of cloud-based applications encourages mobile usage, decreasing dependence on the device or location.
