Now part of the Wireless Broadband Alliance

The WBA is a global industry association that is focused on driving the next generation Wi-Fi experience. Frictionless connectivity is a goal as more and more people do business on-the-go. Wi-Fi is fundamental to the future of telecom operators and creating an experience that removes the difficulties of shifting seamlessly between Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity is a key objective of the WBA.
Our board representative, Marcio Avilez talked about iPass’ belief in Wi-Fi, as part of seamless enterprise mobility, in this video. Not only do we continue to expand our Wi-Fi network, into areas such as inflight Wi-Fi and internet hotspots at many of the world’s airports, but also in business hotels, on trains and within city-wide commerce areas. Many workers are not productive unless they are connected.
