First, the WSJ breaks that Sprint gets the iPhone 5.
So when? According to MobileBeat, with Foxconn making 150K units daily:
“The news is a sign that Apple is stockpiling iPhone 5s in preparation for its release within the next few weeks. Apple is expected to announce the phone some time in late September and have it available for sale by mid-October.”
And where else can I get one? Boy Genius Report, says that Best Buy is anticipating the first week of October for pre-orders.
Will there be enough?
According to Digitimes, Apple to ship 86.4M iPhones in 2011, overtaking Nokia. Overall smartphone shipments will be up 60% over 2010.
What can I do with it?
Last week, I posted the Games and Back-to-school apps blog, and this week, Jason Hiner on ZDNet also gave his Top 20 Most Useful iPhone Apps for 2011.
Finally, David Carnoy, gives his list of the Top 20 Most-Wanted Features on the iPhone 5.
So now you are up to date. Until tomorrow.
