Even the famous have bad hotel Wi-Fi

After releasing our Hospitality Trends report last week, I saw some activity on Twitter agreeing with the issue of working Wi-Fi in hotels. Imagine our surprise to see this article today in USA Today online, about Geoffrey Rush and his Golden Globe nomination.
The title, “Geoffrey Rush sees the Globes through his son’s eyes,” explains his issue:
And no, he didn’t watch the nominations, because of technical issues.
“I had a great difficulty. I couldn’t get on the hotel WiFi…”
And like the 26% that called to check that there was Wi-Fi and when they don’t get it, complain to a public forum, this was quite public.
See our report on Hospitality and Wi-Fi Trends.
Remember to use our new Hotspot Finder and give reviews of your Wi-Fi connection experience. You can check for others’ reviews as you plan your next trip.
