Our team is extremely proud of the on-going relationship with Hallmark – and we are excited and grateful for the opportunity to continue our partnership for another five years.
Working closely with the Hallmark network team, together we have accomplished a great deal. Our teams have helped each other to grow in ways that mutually benefit both organizations. As a simple example, many of our latest service offerings and enhancements started out as feature requests or simple service inquiries from Hallmark, and have since been developed, leveraged, and deployed across many of our other large retail customers.
As outlined in today’s press release, our focus on listening and understanding the evolving needs of our customers allows us to develop meaningful and valuable services that enhance our customers business solutions, allowing them to improve their business – and as a result we create loyalty and the kind of partnership we are proud of.
Cloud-based PCI scanning
Furthermore, one of the new and exciting service offerings that retailers may have interest in learning more about is our cloud-based PCI scanning service. It’s only mentioned briefly in today’s press release, yet we are proud to add new and enhanced features to our security and scanning solutions. This addition to our PCI scanning service portfolio will provide a simple, cloud based approach to both internal and external scanning and reporting for our retail customers.

Today’s announcement is an exciting milestone for the Managed Network Services business of iPass.
We have been working with the Aerohive team for several months, and this new formal partnership paves the way forward for our customers to truly harness the benefits of a fully managed, business ready Wi-Fi solution. The market buzz around this Wi-Fi offering has never been louder. Our customers and prospects are inquiring about Wi-Fi strategies, designs and architectures to meet their specific needs. The demand for seamless mobility with straightforward deployment, management and scalability are all critical to our business enterprise and large venue clients.
Managed Wi-Fi services are in high demand at distributed retail, big box stores and real estate venues or shopping malls. This iPass MNS / Aerohive partnership provides a secure, distributed way to deliver a great user experience at an affordable price. We are not only seeing growth in the retail sector, but the healthcare, insurance and financial services markets are experiencing similar demand due to BYOD and mobile device explosion.

We are excited to announce the MultiLink Connect solution because it’s unique features & proven benefits offer enterprises a competitive alternative to traditional WAN services.

Network Architecture
Our team has a strong history of developing and delivering low cost, high bandwidth – tailored wide area network & WiFi solutions. The MultiLink Connect solution is a natural evolution of our turn-key, PCI compliant, & fully managed IPVPN broadband solutions for enterprises with a significant number of geographically dispersed small offices and/or retail locations.

Advanced Monitoring - present
We have seen a tremendous level of interest in our dual broadband MultiLink Connect solution and similar hybrid WAN architectures. The demand for higher bandwidth networks with improved up-time availability are driving the need for new solutions that are already disrupting the traditional WAN technologies and designs. Organizations deploying Wi-Fi, VOIP, video and other applications are quickly realizing that traditional WAN options limit their ability to scale, are costly, and are not positioned to meet the bandwidth requirements that are on the horizon.
Bandwidth demand is directly related to the cloud application explosion, more & more real-time applications, and supporting of Wi-Fi network access. The availability requirement is primarily a result of enterprises providing their business users with more business critical applications that are dependent on always-on, always-available, network access. MultiLink delivers this bandwidth for the myriad of cloud-based applications and portable devices without compromising the high availability usually associated to MPLS-based networks. In addition, many corporations have blurred the lines between what was typically “not for business use” apps by embracing the social networking mediums like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, and as such have created an unprecedented demand for bandwidth.
