iPass Unveils Secure Web Gateway – Powered by Cisco ScanSafe

Today, we announced a Secure Web Gateway (SWG) solution for the enterprise. This cloud-based Web Security Service controls unauthorized access to the web and protects customers from internet threats. This solution is for customers requiring ‘Zero Day’ threat protection, advanced web usage reporting and consistent enforcement of usage policy for all network endpoints.
Customers can manage all internet bound traffic from branch locations in an efficient and secure method by using this service powered by Cisco ScanSafe.
Enterprises have historically been constrained by sending all remote branch internet traffic back to corporate in order to centrally apply corporate security policies prior to sending that same traffic back out to the Internet.
