AT&T buys T-Mobile – winners and losers

You’ve probably heard the news by now, but we’ve gathered a few articles for you.
First from Mashable, “Why AT&T Bought T-Mobile” quotes the press release about the possibility of iPhone being offered to T-Mobile USA customers:
“T-Mobile USA remains an independent company. The acquisition is expected to be completed in approximately 12 months. We do not offer the iPhone. We offer cutting edge devices like the Samsung Galaxy S 4G and coming soon our new Sidekick 4G.”
In another Mashable article, AT&T Buys T-Mobile for $39 Billion, according to Forrester Research analyst Charles Golvin:
“AT&T’s acquisition of T-Mobile, if approved, brings good news and bad news. The good news: high-speed mobile broadband service will improve in quality and coverage… The bad news: the cost of that service won’t come down nearly as fast as customers would like, since AT&T and Verizon Wireless combined would own nearly three out of every four wireless subscriptions in the US…”
